As a Holistic therapy Centre, at Tree of Life we provide an atmosphere that is warm, welcoming and non-judgemental. We have a range of classes suited to all levels of ability, and age groups from beginners to the more practiced Yogi!
Everyone has to start somewhere and at Tree of Life, our long established teachers are adept at tailoring the classes to each stage of ability, helping you develop a Yoga practice most suiting to you.
The Hatha practice is where all yoga is derived and is a wonderful place for beginners to start. You will learn basic poses, relaxation techniques and terminology that you will find in almost every other style of yoga. With all forms of Yoga, strength & flexibilty improve over time. You aim to be comfortably challenged while harnessing more body awareness in unison with your breath. Please call reception if you have any questions about which class may be most suitable for you.We recommend perhaps trying a couple of different classes as a 'drop-in' to see which one you like the best. Each teacher brings his/her unique style to a class withslight variations in focus, but individual attention being an essential aspect to all of our classes. Each class will vary slightly and we will introduce you to many styles of Yoga, always finishing with a deep relaxation.
